The mezzo-soprano Carmen Artaza, born in San Sebastián, was awarded the Grand First Prize in 2021 at the 58th edition of the Concurso Internacional de Canto Tenor Francesc Viñas, where she also received the Mozart Prize, the Audience Prize and three other special prizes.
